A friend of mine which lives in Düsseldorf recommended this place. In fact, I don’t go out for drinks often but this place really knows how to create an amazing bar vibe.
Firstly ,the interior is spectacular and luxurious. It’s a hotel bar, so if you plan on staying in Düsseldorf and you have enough money to spare, you can stay there and enjoy the bar this way.
Another fun thing is their menu. A lot of drinks and items on the menu are Anime-themed, which made me especially happy.
The Bartender was super kind. After telling him that i don’t know too much about cocktails, he told me a lot about the cocktails on the menu and gave me personal recommendations based on what i told him i like. The cocktails were super tasty, and especially the glasses are very characteristic you can enjoy with your eyes.
I ordered a small cheese plate and they it came with jam. I’ve never seen cheese with jam so i was a little surprised. But the surprise i had after trying it was bigger! The combination of saltiness, sweetness and fruitiness was perfect.
I hope you enjoyed visiting all these places with me this time as well.
I certainly wish you will visit this place at some point in the future.
A short trip with my mum in Germany 7!~A nice seafood restaurant in Düsseldorf🐟✨~
This is part 7 of my short trip through Germany with my mum.
If you didn’t read the other ones yet, you should start with them first: Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6 This time we went to a nice seafood restaurant in Düsseldorf 🐟 The restaurants name is “MEERBAR”. When you step inside it just feels luxurious and gorgeous.
The atmosphere and vibe is amazing and it invites to take pictures. A location is near the riverside.
When it’s warmer you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the river while having dinner. It feels so good and makes you relax. The restaurant is usually open from 10am to 1am and on some days also until 3am.
You can check for reservation and opening times here. I ordered a seafood plate, it was sooo fresh and tasty. So as a resume: The taste is good, the location is good, the atmosphere is good…. you should definitely visit it when you are nearby. Lastly, some parts of Düsseldorf are famous for architecture so i took a few pictures📷 I don’t know too much about architecture but it is also special and interesting to look at to the untrained eye. How was it? Especially the last one is looks super interesting.😍! This really shows again: When you walk around through cities, try to do it conscious of your surroundings.
Otherwise you wouldn’t notice these sort of things and it becomes a lot more interesting and fun. Thank you for reading! Bye~~~~~~~~~~~~ my instagram☞ http://instagram.com/happysummerfruits
A short trip with my mum in Germany 6~Museum Ludwig🎨~
Hello.
A short trip with my mum in Germany 6! This is part 6 of my short trip through Germany with my mum. If you didn’t read the other ones yet, you should start with them first:
Well it is HUGE! IF you want to see everything it’ll take you around 2- 3 hours. A big part of the art inside is by Picasso. The interior was held very simple in a unified pure white, which really takes away any distraction when looking at the pictures.

If you are visiting Köln, you’re in luck! It is very close to the “Kölner Dom” and the central station and therefore a must have on your list if you like art.
Thank you very much for reading i’m looking forward to seeing you again next time~ Bye~~
A short trip with my mum in Germany 5!~Kölner Dom✨
Hi there,
this time i have been to the Kölner Dom. Let me tell you… it was stunning.
This is part 5 of my short trip through a small part of Germany together with my mum. If you didn’t read the other parts, you should check them out here: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
We’ve visited it both during the day and during the night. While it’s impressive at all times, the mood and beauty definitely transforms throughout the day. I first visited it in the night so my first impression of day time was that, through the course of time, the outside of the church is way darker than i expected.(Because at night it is illuminated by very bright lights.)
But during the day you could appreciate all the fine details and ornaments a lot better.
Here is the Kölner Dom during the day:
The night view is breathtaking and mysterious. It’s hard to find a better word to describe it than “gorgeous”.
Night view of the Kölner Dom
Beyond the Hohenzollern Bridge you can take a good picture.
You can take a picture of the Kölner Dom with the bridge in the foreground from here. This is definitely a must go-to photo place if you are in the area.
How was it?
The time that i spend in Köln definitely flew by quickly. Every corner you take holds another surprise for you and the beauty is astonishing.
You should definitely come here if you are in the area!
This time i went to Bonn, which is most famous for being the birthplace of Beethoven♬ Bonn is pretty close to Köln, so if you are in the area it doesn’t take too much time to hop over.
This is part four of my short trip through a small part of Germany together with my mum. If you didn’t read the other parts, you should check them out here: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Here you see the main square of Bonn, which has a bronze statue of Beethoven in the middle of it.
This is the house he was born in. It is not very flashy and blends in perfectly with the other houses, so make sure you don’t accidentally walk past it when you visit it.:D
A fact that is lesser known by people that are not from germany (even though some germans don’t know it as well), is that Bonn is the city of Haribo. Haribo is actually an abbreviation for Hans Riegel Bonn. As you guessed, the Bonn in Haribo references this city. You can get special, Bonn specific items and all flavours of HARIBO gum only in here.
Here are a couple of impressions of Bonn’s scenery:
How was it?
I really love the laying bronze face in the pictures above. That is an amazing piece of art. Do you like it as well?
Anyways, thank you for reading and i will see you next time! 😀
